This is the pattern, note that it is half because it does not fit on a sheet of paper. The best thing to do is to transfer it to an acetate template to draw it later on the fabric:
We need two fabrics and an interlining with a thermoadhesive side.
We fix with the iron the interlining on the reverse side of the outer fabric:
Draw the pattern on the interlining:
Place the two fabrics right sides together and stitch along the red line:
Turn over, iron and mark the sides marked with the red lines. I stitched them but it is not necessary because we will sew around them later.
Open the flaps, one for the top and one for the bottom. Place the fabric as shown in the picture, pin it and stitch along the red line, from the tip of the scissors to the end of that line. This way we already have one side fixed, which is where the hole will go through which we will turn the work around:
On the other side lock with another pin at the same height but do not sew yet:
Lift the flap of the checkered fabric and pin all the way around, making sure that the edges of all the layers are well aligned but without catching the pocket:
Stitch along the red line up to the mark to leave a hole for turning the fabric:
Turn over and sew the opening with a hidden stitch:
Iron, put a clasp and.... voila!
Easy, isn't it?
