pattern in full size
Very important! Details without allowance! Add the 1/4 inch seam allowance on all sides
First sew light and dark triangles
Then sew the resulting squares together, press them apart seams
Sew the resulting rectangles together
Sew now our patchwork items with the core (rectangle 12 x 4cm + allowances)
On the long sides sew strips (21.2 x 3 cm + allowances!)
Collect "sandwich" of three layers of patchwork upper, lining (I sintepon) and lining quilt
Sew short cuts bias binding
Next in line zipper cut out two more square 4x4 cm of fabric, folding them in half and sew so
Sew on the zipper to the first short cut of the sewing machine, and only the second would have to manually
Trim the ends of the zipper, we have this kind of detail
You're cut out and sew the side pieces of our pencil case, for that I carve 3 rectangle for "sandwich" of a size to be able to carve out of it two circles with a radius of 4 cm, and quilted it
Carve out two circles with a diameter of 8 cm
It remains to handle sections bias binding.
Now you know how to make a pencil case with your own hands, I hope it is useful to you :)
