How easy and quick to sew a rose from a fabric or satin ribbon. How interesting it is to decorate brooches, necklaces, hair clips, hair rims, handbags.
For this 4 cm diameter
rose, I needed a 2.3 cm x 47 cm fabric strip. You can experiment with
width and length, depending on what you want the result. Still need thread and a needle. You can also use hot glue.
So, we take a strip of cloth in hand and bend the tip diagonally.
In order to form
the middle, we twist the tip of the strip to the point of bending and
fix it with threads, sewing it up to the face of the rose.
We
sew the thread on the same level so that when the flower is ready, we
cut the tip with scissors and do not damage the thread with which the
rose is fastened.
We fixed the middle, we make the next bend.
We twist the rose, but not tightly until the strip is bent, fixed with a stitch.
We make the next bend, we twist on and on again not densely, slightly expanding the flower.
Continue to spin the rose to the next bend, each time fixing nicks.
In order for the rose to expand and become flatter, we fix the petals closer to the edge.
Now bend the tip and gently fix it, so that the rose has found a complete appearance.
It remains to cut off the leg of the rose to make it more flat.
