How to sew roses from fabric

As I do rosettes of fabric

 1. I cut a strip 1 cm wide from a dense cardboard and a strip 2 cm wide from fabric. Length of strips of fabric can be any (the more, the rose is more magnificent). I put fabric strips lengthways in half and iron.

 2. I wind the fabric on a cardboard in a spiral. And ironing.

 3. I take out the cardboard.

 4. I wind the fabric on a pencil.

 5. I cut the circles from scrap paper. I made it a figured punch for scrapbooking.

 6. I smear paper with glue, I apply a curled fabric and straighten, forming rose petals.
