When it comes to fabric, I like to use every last drop of it.
So when I saw my leftover cut triangle scraps from yesterday’s Arrow Skirt tutorial, I knew I could turn it into something useful and fabulous.
Turning your jelly roll into a fun tote bag is super simple. First you will need to sew all of the strips together. Once you have done that, cut out triangles on the bias.
If you made yesterday’s Arrow Skirt, than this is what you naturally have left over after cutting out bias strips from your fabric! Great!!!
Match up your color schemes as desired from the cut triangles.
You now have one long rectangle of fabric that is perfect for turning into anything you want. A tote, a crayon roll, a pillow, the list is endless.
I found a great simple lined Tote Tutorial.
Happy Sewing!
