Today I am here with a little tutorial for how to make this sewing case which is perfect for carrying around tiny stitching projects.
finished size;15cmx10cm
This is template. Red points are place of handle. Please make your own design, piece work, embroidery, etc. of outer face using with this template.
step1. make outside face and cut 2 inner fabrics.
step2. make pocket. Fold the pocket fabric then lay on the one piece inner fabric with fold edge top. However I used lace for the pocket....like this.
step3. lay another inner fabric right side together and sew bottom line.
step4. open and press toward the pocket. you complete the inner fabric.
step5. make the handles. cut two 14cm length ribbons. Place the ribbon from the edge to red point, 3cm. In the same way make another side handle,too.
step6. lay inner fabric on outside fabric ,sew right side together leaving a little open for turning.
stop7. turn out the right side and close the left with slip stitch.
step8. make the spool holder. cut 11cm-12cm length ribbon and fold half.
step9. sew together not folded side and sew button other side.
step10. Last! make needle roll with 8cm square fabric. (piece work or one piece fabric, as you like)
sew one side edge right side together then turn the right side out. Sew around one edge and pull the thread to gather , then tie a knot. Stuff wads and close the left edge in the same way.
