This pattern working with so many fabrics and it’s just the perfect size for an overnight bag or carry on.
In my effort to use up some of my fabric before buying more, I decided to make some duffle bags using Noodlehead's free cargo duffle pattern. I took the easy street though and didn't bother putting the pockets.
This is such at great pattern! It's a good-sized bag that doesn't take too long to sew up. And I love how the inside seams are finished with some binding. In fact, I like it so much I just may have another one on the go!
Patchwork Duffle Bag
While making the last two duffle bags, I was already planning my next one.
I couldn't help but think how fun it would be to make a patchwork bag.
I started pulling scraps from my small-scraps bag and got busy.
It feels good to make something like this from such small pieces of fabric.
Now unlike the other bags, this one is for my (patchwork-loving) self!
Sorry for the abundance of pictures but I was having too much fun taking pictures
of this bright bag amidst our winter whiteness.
made using Noodlehead's free pattern
